The rendering of this is extremely amazing, it's unbelievable. It's stunning how far we've progressed in technology within such little time.

It is isn't it?! Technology is going ahead in leaps and bound. You buy the latest 'whatever' today, and tomorrow, you may as well replace it again.
Just wondering, who here plays AC?

I have to wait until next year too to get the White Edition delivered to my home. Right now I can't get the first AC to work right under Windows 7.

Ricardo, really?! Hmm, not good. I'm staying away from Windows 7. I've got XP, and i'm staying with it. I don't see any reason to change. Bandit, it is out! For everything but PC! A-holes, ^%&*$..... not freakin' amused! But yeah, i'm so looking forward to getting it! You guys don't happen to know that PC specs for it do you?

Got the game running under Windows 7. I need to start the DirectX 9 version, instead of the DirectX 10 version. If I run the DirectX 10 version the game turns black, sometimes when there's a new 'page' loading I see the screen, but then it turns black again. I have DirectX 11 installed.

Cheers Ricardo Wow, those are some decent specs. I hope i'll be ok. No way i can afford to get a new PC. Or update much for that matter. I need to go dig up my PC specs. It says 'see supported list' for video cards? Where is the list? Oh no. Just checked and i only have 2GB

They don't vary that much of the specs of AC1 too be honest, except for the RAM on XP and the Hard Drive space needed...

Ohw calm down Kat; Memory (DDR2 and DDR3) are still very cheap..
I put my old 2GB in my son's PC and bought meself a fresh 1066Mhz 4GB kit of 4 (quad channel) for only € 50,- ..
A 2GB kit of 2 800Mhz will cost no more than € 35,- ...
And to get you off that console idea: my son's Xbox 360 died a few days ago, just out of warrentee...

I wasn't really that angry mate Yeah i know, but money's tight at the moment. So it'll have to wait till the game's almost out. Bugger! Things always die just after the warrantee's run out.
