I cant imagine to drive with this steering assist Steering assist set to low is an exploit that increases grip on some systems. Anak (G25 wheel), and WolfKing (gamepad) are two known fast players using this, and I recall reading about other very fast players using steering assist set to low, and also traction control set to high. I tried this, expecting it to slow me down, but my lap times were about the same, even though I was fighting the steering assist sometimes. Steering assist messes up Willlow Springs, because the line is wrong there, but it seems to help some players at Nordschleife (Wolfking set a 5:52.xxx flying lap, Anak a 5:53.xxx standing start lap). On my system, (I use a joystick to steer), increasing speed sensitivity from 0% to 50% is about 1/2 second faster at Willow Springs.

In my view ,the steering assist set to low combined with a DFGT seems to be faster. At least on my system

Acutally its pretty disturbing me cause when i turn the car wont turn or just a little bit. I also tried with idealine on but i cant reach nearly the times i made without, if wolfking or anak did those laps with steering assist maybe they used it since starting to play this game and found out how to handle it, for me its just like someone is hiding me to turn my wheel (stick), surely its because i dont drive the same line than the ideal one ingame. Steering speed sensivity to 65% is the best setting for me, i guess its because i use a low steering sensivity (20%). I must convince my wife to let me buy G27 wheel, maybe if i win the german ea competition (first price PS3) she will be gentle to me @hotride nice sectors^^, 3rd u stopped to drink coffee? I guess its a bug from the game, the client seems to be bugfree. Greetz Marco

I finally started to post some times on WR project. I noticed there are several ISRC members atop the leaderboards(of course ). Why dont we have a team? I think we would be doing very well in the team standings!

I have a question about this software WRC,,, I read something about disabling the NOS,
If I install it and I able turn it off when I want too? so that way i can still race 6 /10 cars and have the use of NOS?
I compare some of my times and I rank in the top 30 on some tracks,,,, defintly the first page I was up with hotride on Ebusi west

options->gameplay->controls.. there you have the assigned keys and buttons etc.
Go to NoS and hit return, then press backspace to unassign the function.
It is specifically this that wrecord is programmed to look for, that you have it turned off. You don't need to worry about not being able to use nos in online races and so on, because you turn it back on when you go online and wrecord only counts the offline races.
Try it, Sunny!

Off line,, hell my best times are online when under presure with someone riding my azz.... well chit that sux Well, that goes for our races here too. And it's the same for me, the best times I get when being chased by fast drivers online. I think it's hard to motivate myself just driving a track alone. Some say that grip levels and stuff like that might be different when racing online vs. offline, I think the motivation from competing makes the different though.

Hi Tomas! Best times are almost always Online, because Online has some "speed bugs", "grip bugs", "lag bugs" and so on that sometimes result in artificial faster times. That is why a Project like WR can only accept Offline results! Rogério
