Great time Paul! My best 2 laps equals low 1:56, so im not suprised. I just checked my setup for changes. I exchanged stg3 drive train for seam welded chassis a few nights ago while testing and it didnt handle as well, but i went to bed and didnt change it back. I forgot to change it back last night also when making the 1:57 run. So i should be able to better my time also.

Thanks Aaron ! I am sure you improve your time to low 1.56, maybe better About setup, I tried lvl 3 brakes with lvl 3 suspension and seam welded chassis, but car bounced like wild bull ! The stock susp. is in this case the best choice, I think. Maybe the widest wheels will ipmrove cornering stability and speed, but this is + 0.16 pts to rating, and what else put out to get under 10.00 ... So this option is the best, for me sure ! Thanks Aaron ! P.S. : I did 1st in 1.00.066, so the low 1.56 is in my case possible too, but I think this is for today enough Paul

Update The trick is to use nos sparingly. I had half a bottle left after the race. It seems nos causes traction loss at higher rpm.-edit- Oops i mean lower rpm, dont use nos right after shifting, wait for car to accel a little. Changes to setup are posted in inner circle. 1:56.050 - aarog5606 - Camaro SS - 9.98

Impressive times your are all running here. I think it has to do with steering sensitivity in game and in Logitech profiler. Just try setting wheel rotation lower - like 90" or so and then steering lock in car tuning as well. You will see and increase in grip - at least I think I do that.
I will submit a time but not an impressive one like you guys. I lose too much grip despite I know the right racing line here to prevent too much lose of grip cornering.

I have and thanks for posting that. Did you try the R34? Very fast car but has a grip problem.

mah u guys are hopeless! I tried all ur sugesstions (I knew about NOS usage before, but it seems to depend on a car, some car immediately respond after shifting, some have a 'nos lag'...) but it all turns even worse for me. Some corners, (like the uphill curve before the tunnel and the tunnel itself) depends purely on luck for me, something happens and I'm right off the air jumping to the wall there, and the next time I do the same and everything is fine... )

This car is unpredictable for sure. The uphill corner before the tunnel, i got lucky on both laps and was able to keep lowest speed at 110mph. Very seldom have i been able to do that. Also i stayed in 4th gear in the tunnel. Was able to hit nos earlier and get to 140mph before having to slow down for the next right hand corner. I dont believe i could possibly get a better time. That was 2 perfect laps for me, which rarely happens.

Actually let's not try that Camaro after all... It's works converted and I do not want to lose this fine paint job it has on! Jussi

I remembered that I have another easy to drive 10.00 car besides that Cayman by Aaron... Here it is, Rogério's Audi R8. Let's see which one is faster... 2:15.480 - jsskppnn - Audi R8 - 9.99 Both of these cars are very easy to drive and I can't really say which one would come up on top, if I tired them tens of times. Here, I just did 2 complete runs each. Jussi PS. I also tried a bunch of other cars, but none of those got under 2:25.000...

uhm... I suggest anyone who post any 1:56:xxx laptime but without a car's smashed nose, is the winner!
