Hi! @ricardo - For the time being, its cool like this, no need to change! @aaron - I didnt test it... But when I did was not so much about the RIMM's size, but the type of RIMM... For some reason I felt difference... Usually wasnt that it was absolute faster, but was more consistent. Aaron, dont forget to apply the Club Livery to all your owned cars, because is the only way to give xp to the Club, for the rankings! Cya! Rogério

Hi guys, Thanks for the replies! I have installed club livery to both my cars. Although i have yet to race with either of them. I have been racing with Thegreenmonster and he likes for everyone to use the same car, so we can't change anything on the cars. I really have'nt played this game too much, so i have alot to learn yet. I am also very rusty after not playing a racing game in so long!

Can't watch the video old buddy, it is private.
I don't care for the global challenges due to the ridiculous AI drivers. They are worse than racing kids in multiplayer. Time attack isn't too bad because you can drive slow on the first lap so they aren't in your way on the last 2 laps. I just don't understand why they make the AI so damn aggressive.

Hi all! TheGreenMonster (PC) - Why dont you join the Club? I see you play a lot, so you could help us grow. The only thing is that you must buy your cars and apply the Club livery. About the Club: a) Guys, buy as much cars as you can from a specific class of competitions, apply the club livery and race in that class... My objective is to have, one day, a car from each class and race in all categories rooms. At this moment I have all Touring category cars, except the Cat B Special. Have na Open Wheel and 2 or 3 Street cars, dont remembre! b) I have sent invitations to a few of my contacts to see if we can get someone else to the Club... I dont know how these invitations work, but hopefully the guys I sent them to, get them! About setups: I dont know much about setups so far... But I can tell you already that it seems that buying the parts, setup and performance wise, as soon as they are made available, will ensure better car performance, even without changing defaults on setup options. About cars: Here are 2 links for car choices... Some of them I am not following... But I am unsure, with a few exceptions, what cars are best and this is a good starting point! steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=281495687forums.codemasters.com/discussion/1172/grid-autosport-what-is-the-best-car-in-every-class#latestAbout this week challenges: This guy is a very good driver. If you want to improve your challenge performance, check his vídeos. Most are done with loaner cars, so... forums.codemasters.com/discussion/2535/racenet-challenges-week-3-platinum-top-1-gameplay-after-the-updateI guess thats all for the time being! Cya! Rogério

Hi Rogerio,
Thanks for the links. I just watched some of those videos and i am confused. The AI cars don't react in any way for that guy, than they do for me. If i get even close to one, they ram me into the walls or other cars. I have even had them slow down exiting a corner just so i could not pass. Very frustrating. I could see it if i drove like that towards them, but i don't. I always try to pass the AI cars clean as to not damage my car. Very odd.
Anyone else have this problem?

Could it be the difficulty setting for the AI? I race at Medium level and they are quite happy to block my path or ram into me.
Haven't tried Easy or Very Easy settings yet to see how the AI reacts at that level.

Hi Ricardo,
That is my guess. I was doing some of the Global Challenges and the AI difficulty is set to medium. I haven't played career to know how the AI drives are in it.

Hi!
AI is a matter of luck unfortunately. There is a discussion in Codemasters asking them to remove it in Challenges.
TIP: Use Custom Cup from main menu to test car setups. You can start a competition, choose car and track, and add Practise Time up to 20m. There you have the car available with full setup options and you can add or remove the performance packs.
Question: are you guys thinking about racing for the Club? I joined a few days already and even without having much time, I have done a few races for the Club almost everyday since. If you guys dont participate, we cant make it grow...
Cya!
Rogério

Hey guys, I spent some time at the Codemasters forums yesterday and found something interesting about wheel settings. In case anyone didn't know, for the wheel software, try setting spring and damper effects to 0% and allow game to adjust settings. The difference for me is night and day, its like playing a whole new game now. Apparently, the wheel software creates imaginary force feed back, which i never knew . With these settings, you feel the games FFB and not the false FFB created by the wheel software. I was able to get a few wins for the Club last night, but unfortunately most races we had to use stock cars. Is this how most lobbies are? Or is it the person who creates the lobbies settings? Rogerio, thanks for the tip about Custom Cup, i was wondering if there was a way to test cars without going online or in career.

Hi! About the wheel settings, you are correct, unfortunately, for me, 100% seems to work better. To all purposes, it seems Autosport doesnt have a true native FFB engine, so you probably have to go with the fake one... I am guessing it all dependes on the in-game settings you have... I dont have vibration on, so for those who have maybe that setting could be 0% like you have and how it should be. Anyway, for the moment, I find having both of them 100% seems better, even more because, like I have read in their fóruns, the developers used 100% in their G27 Wheel while developing the game. Yesterday was able to do a couple of races with Ricardo! Once we were both on the podium! It was a good day for the club, close to 30 wins! We are almost Top 150! ;P I am finally starting to settle in with the game, knowing the tracks and having the cars on decent levels. Seems my weak spot is the Cooper Works, which yesterday a guy showed me was still off pace. I have now a car for each Touring Category plus maybe 6 cars from Street and Tuner. Also 1 Open Wheel. With exception for the Ford Focus, I still didnt test any setup settings. For the moment I am just buying the setup and performance parts as soon as they are available. Cya all! Rogério

Hmmmm, If i do not have vibration on, in game, then i have no FFB at all. Regardless of profiler settings. With effects at 100%, the center spring is not true. I will turn the wheel slightly before i have input, which is hard for me and i'm sure anyone else, to be consistent. I will do more testing eventually, just haven't had enough time lately.

I tried your wheel settings yesterday Aaron of 0% everything...I don't use any FFB either in game or in the profiler.. And the car handle rather well...Believe it or not..

I don't have everything at 0%, just spring and damper effects.
I heard yesterday was your birthday old buddy. Happy belated Birthday!
