Never could I have imagined my Stingray to perform so well after considering the struggles I was having with my Z06. Only got time to do about 4 runs but that was enough given the time I had. This series has opened my eyes to the Stingray I must say. 2:45.680 - ELRIO77 - Chevrolet Corvette Stingray - 625 - 60 nfstimes.com/nfsw/pc/ELRIO77/times www.nfsunlimited.net/leaderboards/team/ISRCP.S. The screenshot said 2:45.670 but NFSTimes said 2:45.680 so I went with the lower number. I got a video of the run, might be slow compared to other times but I would put it up in a bit. Edit: Video added.

GunsmokePhoenix you know despite the Cortina being real light, this track itself did not give it a advantage :/ even the Hummer felt the same as the Cortina lol ELRIO77 lol nice explanation of the track haha! i hit that corner a few times, my face almost hit the monitor every time lol 140mph to 0 instantly XD no worry's un1que i did like 2:38.444 with my hummer, i can see it doing at least 2:36 but not with my concentration lol i got a 1:18 first lap and a 1:17 second lap both different runs :/

GunsmokePhoenix you know despite the Cortina being real light, this track itself did not give it a advantage :/ Actually, I wholeheartedly agree. Bay Bridge is a well balanced track and one of my favorite circuits. I took the Cortina out for a few quick runs before the rotation just to see how it stacked up against the Crown Vic. While it was much faster up the right-hand hill turn (115mph vs 107mph) and in the turn down into tunnel (~125mph vs ~115mph), the following straights start just outside of Cortina's acceleration "sweet spot". On the other side of the coin, these straights start right at the beginning of Crown Vic's sweet spot. Even with it starting the back straight (hill to tunnel) slower than Cortina, by the end of the straight it was topped out at 189mph compared to the Cortina which was at 181mph with a good bit of 5th gear left to go. It's much the same story with the rest of the track. What Cortina gained in corner entry/exit speeds and shorter braking distance, the Crown Vic won back on the next straight. The only place I found where Cortina was the clear winner was coming off the jump section and going back through the shipyard. TLDR: Yep, the Cortina lost any advantage it had due to its mediocre 4th/5th gear acceleration.
