Hi! I agree with posting times sooner and I will try to do that... My problem is that I work 6 days a week, only Sunday is free... And still have my House, Girlfriend and Friends to keep company! On the 6.00 Rating Race as soon as I posted my time I left and only cameback with 2 hours remaining on the clock... But because I was not alone, couldnt do anything... And the result was going from 1st when I left home, to 4th when competition was over... So believe me when I say I am all in favour of knowing as soon as possible what is best! Rogério

I also agree that we need to post sooner and give everybody a chance to improve their times. On the other hand it takes time to test all the cars and see what car is the best on a surden track. That is what I did yesterday and going to do today. That was also how I did it in our 6.0 rating competition. I just then had to work on that setup and make it as fast as possible but that also takes some time.
Rogerio writes that he is all in favour of knowing which car is the best. I understand that, but does that mean you will only try to beat people in their "own" car? Or will you do some testing in different cars yourself?

Hi guys,
I have tested several cars for this track so far - R8, M3 E92, Cobalt, DB9, WRX(hoping it would be the best), Elise, Exige and GT500(with right setup might compete), trying to find a car to beat Evo(havent tried it yet). The M3 E92, Exige and GT500 are very close to R8 times but harder to control and be consistent. Going to build Evo in a few(look out Paul!).

Well I have tested almost all the cars in game and I actually think that the Audi TT Coupe is the fastest if someone would be so kind and tell me how to tune it to get a better grip. It has by far the fastest acceleration but it slides too much while cornering. I have also tried the WRX and there are a lot of cars actually that I think would be within 2 secs of each other on this track. However I did test the EVO and I manged to get a 2.05 but that I expect to improve if I can remember how I tuned it. I screwed up my tuning and I have no idea now how to get it back. d**n I'm a fool for making too many changes without noticing and even better writing down the changes that improves the car. Here is my best so far. Poul

Hi guys! Poul: about if I am going to test several cars myself for these competitions, the answer is not likely. I am close to 70 hours a week out of home, just due to work. So, unfortunately, I dont have the time I would wish to enjoy NFS Shift, and these events come very fast (a week apart with up do 2 competitions per week). But I will try to. The thing is, I just see time for testing a car in my weekly life, testing several to their potential would require a time window I just dont have. A tip for setup testing: turn off auto-save and just save when you improve. This way you can always return to the previous solution. Aaron: Thanks for your input! And thanks to Paul for showing us the possible way here! ;P Cya! Rogério PS: Aaron, Rogério, as you probably had guess already, is Roger in English...

Ill be d**ned, i just did the same thing! I got 2:05.8xx and changed 3 or 4 things instead of 1 like i normally do. Now i cant get below 2:06. The Exige handles great but needs Nos, its just not fast enough. Dont care for the Audi TT because of the odd handling.

I know that everyone is trying to find the perfect car and post the best possible time, but nothing can stop people when they improve with same or other car to post the update. That way also helps others to see a car that maybe it's better than the one they are working with. That's my opinion anyway Spiko

Nice time Luca! Im actually suprised i was able to get this thing to handle decent. I made several mistakes, 2:03 is definetly possible. I had Traction Control on low and ABS on for this. 2:04.450 - aarog5606 - Cayman S - 9.99

Luca's time is impressive, with no assists. My best time with no assists was 2:05.00. Cayman is the only car in the game i have to use TC on in career. I think 2:04 is possible with Evo IX, but not 2:03. I did record video of my run with Cayman but made too many mistakes, its still a handful. I will post video as soon as i clean up the laps and run 2:03.
