Hello Racers! Our next picture based racing series will start in September... I'll try to get us some prize codes for the new series. All prizes (if I get any) will again be randomly drawn to make sure that everyone has an equal chance of getting their hands on them. Does anyone have any doable ideas for challenges? Jussi

Yes, make a "league" sort of like a regular football league. Everyone races everyone with one car from each tier. 4 races each time, 3p for victory and 1p for a draw. A 4-0 victory will give you a "goal diff" of +4.
Each racer gets to pick their two tracks - or - they're decided by random draw similar to how you do the numbers when you pick a winner for the codes. I love challanges, but frankly, my patience is too low to make all those runs at a track trying to get a good time. I usually give up after a while due to random traffic ruining it for me. Sure, it's enough if you participate but it's more fun to come out on top.
Thougts?

If we decide to postpone the Challenge Series, the idea is either to do series similar to one make series in real life or a series that mimics FIA's Championships with 2 drivers per team, both using the same car through the series. We won't be changing our winning conditions or points system at this point as it seems to work pretty well. Only think that could be subject to a change is the calculated time percentage (103% is a bit high). Jussi

Same, easily available(for e.g a ZL1, or a Boxster or a Silvia or a M3 E46), and stock car(s). That will make it almost equal for everyone, speaking in terms of cars and performance. So all that will help you win is SKILLS.

Would turn out to be really cool, especially if we bring in the 2 driver teams and have a selection of cars to pick from like in WRC or DTM. Jussi

Agree with 2 driver teams and car selection. Cars should be IGC and stock. Powerups should not be allowed except shield and ready

There's no need to limit it to stock cars as long as we come up with a selection that have cars that will be able to compete with each other. There's plenty of Boost cars that suck ass, like the 135i for example. Jussi

One make series should be very good, I'll take that! But, we have to postpone this series until the car classes is out.

you thought no need to limit it to IGC cars? Why would we? Most of our racers have tons of useless pieces of crap collector cars. I'm sure they'd love to compete with them for once. I know I would. Jussi

But, we have to postpone this series until the car classes is out. Challenge Series probably, but I do not think classes will make any difference, if we decide to do some stock car racing. Jussi

Jussi You misundersood me. I replied to your post with that question, but I think I've got a point. According to Poll, atm, it'll very hard to find boost car owned by every player who want to compete in this series.

it'll very hard to find boost car owned by every player who want to compete in this series. Selection of equally performing cars means that only 2 drivers that form a team need to own that piece of crap Boost car. Other teams can use other cars from that selection. Jussi
