Well i was chased inside by an unusual sky today Its actually got alot worse than this in the time it took to upload these pics to photobucket, But its defenitly a strange sight to see where i am. Its one massive dust storm, all this dirt was picked up from the dryer western areas and now this dust storm covers New south wales and the southern areas of Queensland, and i am only assuming that Victoria is having the same problem. Pretty cool though and its apparently the biggest since 83 or something. Cheers

That last picture Jono was pretty much what it was like here in South Australia on Tuesday (the day before your dust storm), one minute it was windy and dusty the next was gale force winds and an eerie orange glow , this lasted for about an hour then it decided to rain mud horizontally , what a day.

Yer, i had to do a mad dash around our property as we had bits of spare tin sheets flying around everywhere, went and put bricks on them before they could hurt anyone/anything. Apparently someone predicted ages ago that this tuesday gone, was surposed to be armaggedon, Imagine what the people that beleived in that thought waking up in sydney on wednesday morning Oh and anyone out your way who wants a NSW or QLD holiday should have gotten an awfully big kite, would half travel costs Cheers

We get this kind of stuff where I live quite a bit, from the Sahara in Africa. However, it's never been that bad. That's definately amazing.
