I find the leader board's confusing.
During a race I could be a few second's in front when I finish a section, then when the full leader board is shown I'm either ahead slightly or behind in the leader board and not the actual time stated in the race.
Does anyone know how the leader boards work?
I understand you have stage times and then they add the times up in total but it's so confusing not actually knowing if the time I've set is good enough.

Hi there!
My understanding is that the end of each Race you see your cumulative time until that stage point... I am not sure if during the race they compare your race time with the one from your direct opponent, or if you also see the cumulative stage difference... But in case its the 1st option, you can be faster (green) during the race itself and at the end be still behind or not in front by the difference you thought when you see the stage time (of course that on the 1st race of each stage this doesnt happen because there are only one race time available, so race and stage have the same times).
PS: For me Stage consists of several Races.

Thanks for the your reply, when I mentioned stage I ment race section, so I'll edit that.
So you have a time for a certain section and then add the section times to give you a total for that stage, then add stage times in total to give you your ultimate time, which is simple and makes sense to all of us but with EA not so simple.
