I joined the game... Its really good. And I'm amazed that, it has more gamemodes and many many features than nfs world. Seriously, I feel like now I should play this game more now than the stupid world. Nothing is developed in that. And Racing has some meanings here. No random stupid traffic and Ghost race ability. What else I need for fair racing?
The driving system is quite good, just need more practice mastering it. I can even configure buttons. Graphics settings, video settings. Crew, achievement things. All things we have been wanting on NFS World are pretty much there.
I guess I'll be busy with it for quite sometime. Add me if anyone want: ABDmaster

Let me know the hours you're playing and when I see you in the game I'll give few few suggestions, that way things will be easier for you. I usually play after 7:00PM Eastern Time. I will look for your name and add you on my friends list.

Those abilities (best line, ghost car etc), which ones are good? Whats the easiest & fastest way to earn xp and pp? I also need to fix the steering sensitivity as I'm playing on gamepad Logitech Rumblepad2. In arcade races, it turns too much on slight touch, putting the car into drift. How can I fix it? In SIM mode, its fine.

Hi,
at starting this game i would first make single player missions, like career, driving license, tutorial and some challenges.
with this missions u get lots of rp and xp at start (up to lvl 40), "girls", doubler and some cars for 3 days, for example driftcars and TA-cars.
with that TA-cars u can make many more points using them with girl and doubler.
after that i would say buying Cobra in class 3 is the best choice for a new car.

I have been a hardcore NFS fan for a long time now but World and also all the retail parts after Carbon definitely had a lot of flaws for people who are playing with a competitive mindset, so maybe I should give this game here a try as well. How is it with the paid content compared to NFS World where you have a lot of disadvantages if you don't buy speed boost all the time?

Follow what Tim said above and that will help you level up quick. Also by doing those you will get the feel of the game and multiplayer races will be easier. I use xbox 360 game pad, set at 900 steering range, and I use steering help anywhere from 0 to 5%. I do use a bit higher for the F1 since that car it's hard to control on some tracks. Spending real cash is helpful for the 2x's (doubles your XP/RP which XP=experience points you need to level up, and RP=game money that you need to purchase RP cars, upgrades for cars and trunk items=items that help you have a better grip, faster acceleration, ect), and for the girls which they give you double XP/RP also. If you have both at the same time you will get 3 times the standard payouts. game has many cars for RP purchase, but also license cars (Nissan, BMW, Toyota ect) which you will need CP=real cash to buy them. The most expensive CP car I believe is the Nissan WGT GTR (class 9) which is the fastest car in the game I will say in 95% of the tracks and the cost for it is appr $20 US dollars. Prices are based on car class. The lower the class the cheaper the car costs. Class 5 evo I believe is like 5-6 US dollars, so not that bad. Game has great cars for RP which can compete with CP cars in every class, so if you dont want to spend real cash in the game you can still compete and have fun for free For sure is worth it to try it, and I believe you will like it. If you decide to do so, look for me or Tim in the game and we will guide you trough. Spiko PS the only performance trunk item in the game that costs real cash is NOS IV which is 16 CP (like 15 cent) for 100 pieces. Other than that all other performance trunk items are for RP purchase. I think it's also 1 more xtreme item speed ticket which it's for rental for 3 days or more, but I don't remember what that costs (last I use that was many months ago). I don't believe is expansive anyways. EDIT-to buy cars you will need to be at the required level which each car is set for. Instead if you use any of the reward cars from the single player missions/tutorials up to class 5 (they are only 3 day cars the rewards), you can re-rent them for 3 days after they expire(you can't for more time), and level requirements don't apply on those. I don't believe you can re-rent the drift cars though.

Thanks for the info's Tim and Spiko. I already got the cobra from class 3 and its really good car. The Singleplayer modes are nice, I finished the license all in silver except 3 of them were in gold. Will get the gold later. Its good to hear that there are some car balance in the game between paid & non-paid players. That's very interesting to read from a fellow NFS veteran. You should give it a try. You will like it. We've been asking for important things for so long time, yet nothing is done to nfs world. All they are worried about how to sell boost. Here at Heat I pretty much see them all. And like I said before, racing is fair here.
