On a side note, the fastest 70's GT car is an upgraded Porsche RSR 3.0 (1648 - if drag parts included), but it only has 5 gears and even when set to max speed, it's gear limited (175 mph) and there's a big jump from 4th to 5th gear.

This career event doesn't list the 67 vette as an option,, I would prefer the vette myself... but I am top out at 210 mph with the Cobra 427 Not sure if it matters, but note that the works Stingray is allowed in the career 60's GT events. This career event doesn't list the 67 vette as an option ... Cobra 427 My mistake, the 67 Vette can be used for the legends events, but not the GT events. The Cobra should be the fastest 60's GT car, while the 911 RSR 3.0 that you buy (the one you win can't be upgraded) is the fastest 70's GT car.

I did a 4.26.xxx Jeff but you can do better than that. It was just something for me to try on the new system. I don't play Shift 2 that much. The Cobra is one of the cars that has a bit of the weave issue in Shift 2, where it wanders side to side on the straights, and yaws in and out while drifting in long turns, which sometimes results in excessive oversteer slowing the car down. It's difficult to be as precise with some cars in Shift 2 as it was in Shift 1. Maybe it's my controller, since the new system is more than fast enough.

I'm guessing this contest is over by now? The whole community seemed to lost it's interest to Shift 2 and the races just died. We will be picking up PBRC's when The RUN arrives, but we could also revive these Shift 2 ones, if there was a demand for them. Jussi PS. I got some prizes for EA for my PBRC's.
