We all are can not wait to play the game. And I suspect that EA/BlackBox has some fresh info and Easter Eggs left under their sleeve. Here is about police chases: " GamerZines: Our fondest memories playing Need for Speed games involve escaping from police in some guise or another. From the opening portion of The Run we’ve played that component is there but it seems to have taken a step into the background…
Alex Grimble, Producer for Need for Speed: The Run: This is the cool thing about telling the story. The cops aren’t too savage at the start, but it definitely ramps up and ramps up. We were very deliberate about that, we just sprinkled the cops in at first and that really accentuates those ‘Oh *!’ moments, because in the later levels it gets pretty intense. " So for now, I just wanted to show some pics from the “NFS Run On Tour” Marketing Campaign which is underway with events in Australia, UK, France, Italy, USA. Today's post is about recent party that took place yesterday in Sydney, Australia. Usually, EA events have free alcohol for all participants and after consumption of a fair amount of beverages interviews with drunk community managers are real fun to watch. Like here, please welcome Matt Vella and NFS Jiggsy After you watched the interview, let's have a look at the posh NFS Run Event itelf “cars, women, and music...”

aarog5606i have heard the handling is badlyer then the hot pursuit handling, this say some people wo played the demo for xbox 360... But we will see it next week. I dont´t think the game had much bugs because the Frostbite Engine works in Battlefield 3 without bugs. greetz

I just pre-ordered NFS Run... I figured wtf, I bought HP and played it for two maybe three weeks.. I bought Shift 2 and played it maybe 2 months plus I own every copy before that, Shift 1, Undercover, ProStreet,Carbon Copy, Most Wanted, UnderGround 1 & 2 etc etc etc,, I think my first copy of a NFS game was NASCAR 2002...
So I assume we all will have our master screen names like we did in Shift 2 if this is still the case I will be "TGreenMonster" EA support changed my master screen name for me when I bitch about it when Shift 2 was release......
So I will be rocken and rollen Nov 15th after I get off of work.

Actually, BlackBox's games had least amount of bugs comparing to the NFS Games done by other development teams. BlackBox made NFS World, which has more bugs than any other NFS game I'm aware of, and has the worst lag handling (prediction) code I've seen in any racing game in the last decade. NFS World is missing basic features like assignable controller inputs, rear view mirror, manual transmission, ... So the same team that made NFS World is making The Run? What happened to the team that made NFS Undercover and the older NFS games, are those people gone now? Why is NFS World so plagued with bugs? In the live feed for Ask Marc 50, Marc mentions that there are currently 30 members on NFS World development team. They may get another 10 members from "The Run" team, but that's about it. Marc states he wants the team to have a common focus, which is apparently focus on selling boost and ignore the issues that plague NFS World. Marc also mentioned that previous EA/BB NFS games had 200+ members involved. I don't know what the numbers were for "The Run". By comparason, Synetic made two decent racing games, Mercedes Benz World Racing, and World Racing 2, with a staff of just 8 people, and the games themselves are much better than NFS World, so I still don't get why NFS World ended up with so many bugs and so few features (as mentioned above). Synetic continued to make racing games, but the later ones are based on Alarm For Cobra 11, a European TV show, with limited appeal in the USA. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SyneticGetting back to "The Run", I'll be waiting for reviews and feedback from other players (like the players here) before I consider buying it. I skipped Hot Pursuit 2010, mostly because there was only one game mode for each track, so the game play becomes boring sooner than previous NFS games, and pursuit mode is almost all ramming, similar to the "take out jobs" from NFS Undercover.

Hey Guys, here is my next short post about the anticipated game 1) I will start with the Autolog. Everyone knows what it does, but not everyone knows how it's interface will look like. Here is the picture 2) In the recent NFS Podcast, Drew was mentioning The RUN Photomode Contests. Photomode makes a huge comeback in the game equipped with new creative options and features that will help you to capture the Run “from the right angle”. 3) Let's talk about cars a little bit. You may expect EA to reveal its next car for the game – Toyota Supra MkIV Twin Turbo But, I bet, not many of you were expecting to see this car in The RUN - 2500HP!!! beast made exclusively for this game. Who told you that Bugatti Veyron SuperSport will be the king of the road? If I need to RUN, I will choose Rado's car instead. More about this car you can find here: speedhunters.com/archive/2011/10/31/builds-gt-gt-team-need-for-speed-world-racing-supra.aspxAnd speaking about Easter Eggs, since we have Rado's car in the game, will we have Chris as one of the main rivals? 4) What are the other cars exclusives were made for The Run? ReadyToRock Mustang is confirmed to be in but the place on the cover is already taken by another vehicle - Shelby GT500 SuperSnake powered by 5.4 Ford engine supercharged to 750HP Here is the concept art history of its creation Here is the final result More info can be found here: speedhunters.com/archive/2011/11/11/car-feature-gt-gt-the-nfs-shelby-super-snake.aspx5) Last time I started giving you updates about NFS Run On Tour. Today's stop will be in Paris, France , in Europe. Next one is going to happen in New York, USA, tomorrow, November 14th. Have you heard about NeedForSeat Challenge? Looks like our friends in Germany have something to compete for. Here is the NFS Community video on this topic :
