NFS Run was already announced, now we start getting specific details about the coming game. "Three-thousand miles of unforgiving asphalt from San Francisco to New York. No speed limits. No allies. No rules." It looks like this Run combines all best ideas from previous NFS series: * excellent story line of Most Wanted (actually, even better), * deep tuning of Underground (expected), * palm beaches of San Francisco, snow of Rockies, skyscrapers of New York City (this time real ones), * insane police chases of Hot Pursuit Series (with authentic weapons and martial arts), *plus adding extra icing by recreating GTA style game in the NFS World. And do not forget about the Ultimate Autolog Challenge/Online Competition to get the fastest TransAm time in the world. Must have for all serious NFS gamers! Here is an official web-site, and some cars are already announced there: www.needforspeed.com/therun/car/audi-r8-coup%C3%A9-52-fsi-quattroHere are some recent videos: NFS Run: Chicago Level Trailer NFS Run: Producer's Insight NFS Run: Ingame footage (Chicago LVL, E3) NFS Run: Gamers Review (in German, lol) P.S.> Frostbite 2.0 Engine features using Battlefield3 as an example:

One very excellent observation:
there will be no map of the track while racing.
It will add extra fun and will utilize gamers skills and memory to finish the race.

What will happen if we put 1200HP+ 6.2 Chevy ZR1 Engine into Lotus Elise body? It will become - Hennessy Venom GT. One of the fastest cars in the world to run 1 Standing mile. Top Speed: 275Mph or 442+km/h Just for comparison: ................. Hennessy VenomGT ................. Bugatty Veyron 0-200mph..... 15.9sec..................................... 24.2 sec........... www.venomgt.com/the-venom-gt/specifications/www.venomgt.com/gallery/videos/It is one of 7 exclusive cars in the brand new NFS Run game for PS3 owners. What about another 6 cars?, - you will ask me. Ok, there is an ultra-limited (only 100 cars produced) Gran Turismo Icon Bentley SUPERSPORT ISR Convertible, a sport car that set a World Speed Record on Ice by travelling 205+Mph over the frozen Baltic Sea in Finland running on E85 ethanol-based fuel !!! www.supersports.bentleymotors.com/#/en/home/www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzhE8w8oC-YAnd, what else? Ok, I will tell you the secret, there is also a Most Wanted car ever built, Bugatti Veyron. It is one of the most expensive modern production cars on Earth, that will set you back with $ 2,700,000 for the SS version Finally, here is an official video about the exclusive Blue-Ray Add-on for PS3:

This is how Chicago Race starts: Ford Shelby GT500 SuperSnake vs. McLaren Mp4-12C vs. Porsche 911 GT2 vs. BMW E92 M3 GTS Only Mob's Audi R8 Coupe 5.2 is missing (and some may say the same about RX8, DBS/N400, and Challenger)

Let's just wait for the game to come out before calling it the best NFS ever made. I mean look at what they're doing to it... ...(with authentic weapons and martial arts) *plus adding extra icing by recreating GTA style game in the NFS World. It is one of 7 exclusive cars in the brand new NFS Run game for PS3 owners. Looks like they've really lost it this time. I really hope that they don't recreate GTA style, because this is NFS. NFS isn't GTA. Sorry, but I'm not all that excited about getting out of the car in NFS. Or playing a character. Or having a real world location for that matter (although I can actually live with this one as long as they make the environment exciting). And I'm all for explosions and blowing stuff up, but I just don't think it's believable that one is able to survive getting chased and shot at by a helicopter gunship. Not even in an armoured police vehicle. Let alone getting out in time being trapped inside one, upside down still shaken up from a high speed crash to escape an oncoming train. Seriously, what are the odds of that happening? High speed crash onto a railroad while being chased by a helicopter gunship and having a train come by just a bit later so we can conveniently add more drama and suspense to the action. Not to mention that the protagonist beat up a cop and stole his police vehicle. Who writes this shit? Just sayin', they're kinda pushing it. I think they're just trying to add a bunch of shit which they think is cool, with a complete disregard for the franchise or the general concept of keeping it tasteful. Would someone please tell Black Box to fuck off already?

Let's just wait for the game to come out before calling it the best NFS ever made. I mean look at what they're doing to it... ...(with authentic weapons and martial arts) *plus adding extra icing by recreating GTA style game in the NFS World. Lol, it is me who did this description about martial arts and stuff, it is not an official EA press release. But I found it very innovative that they brought these elements to the game. Since the 1st Underground I have been dreaming about kinda free roam authentic game with the chance to get out of the wheel and change the cars in real time like it was done in GTA3. I think my, and many other players, dream is coming true! Why do you think that they lost it this time because of 7 exclusive cars? Thousands of gamers will buy this game solely because it has that insane Hennessy or 911 GT2 in it. But, I know, you like Ferraris. Unfortunately, it is very hard and costly to get it into NFS Series. To some extent, it is because Ferrari is an exclusive brand that does not like their cars be driven mainstream by every single gamer. You want to drive it, buy one. It is their motto. If you really really want it, just buy GranTurismo5 that has a full variety of them. And what did you do in MostWanted by crashing dead all police vehicles? I believe, if you had a chance, you would also kick Sergeant Cross'es b*tt. Plus, it is not a sim, it is survival racing action game with the emphasis on racing, so some gunfire would only spice-up the game and make police chases a real test of skills. Just sayin', they're kinda pushing it. I think they're just trying to add a bunch of shit which they think is cool, with a complete disregard for the franchise or the general concept of keeping it tasteful. Would someone please tell Black Box to f**k off already? So far, it combines all the best elements from previous NFS series, and if EA will not screw up badly with the storyline, it is going to be the best game in the series. I really hope that they will have a decent sountrack for the game, because it is one of the areas I am really afraid about. As I already mentioned at the main EA NFS Run forum, even having some melodies from all different previous NFS series would be very nice.

No chatting??? No DLC??? May be there will be some. Here is my story: Guys, many of you asked me about NFS Shift2 and NFS Run: “Will there be PC DLC and Car Customization? Or Will EA screw us again?”The answer is a definite NO! EA is listening to the customers, and it implemented some important changes through their Origin platform, formerly known as EA Download Manager. Here is a screenshot from one of the marketing presentations of the product: Please have a look at 2 features: 1) In-Game Overlay (PC)above Key Product Launches. What does it mean? Simple, you will be able to run voice chat conference calls (Skype,..) with your friends while playing your favorite games in the full screen mode. 2) In-game DLC Purchase (PC)above NFS Run Name speaks for itself, whoever was thinking about whether to buy that game because of the questionable PC support, can start saving money for a legit copy of the game. YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN! Good job, EA! Keep it up! P.S.> By the way, just to let you know, FY2012 for EA starts April1, 2011 P.S.S.> And do not forget to update your EADMs to the Origin

I'll go with Micrak answer a bug master, listen to you dimitrikhoz your talking about a new game and your not even racing the one we got now.... the innovation is the junk games EA can get us to buy.... after you buy it,,, its tough chit now...... Do you know how far is from New York to San Francisco about 3,000 or 4827 kph thats a long azz way... So is this game going to be an endurance game or what? even at 200 mph it would still take 24 hrs plus to run,,, So they have to have short tracks that take under 10 Min's to run..... sounds to much like TD2-U or GTA a role playing play....this is not considered racing...

I really like the concept, but since they want the handling like hot pursuit im out. Plus your not driving the whole 3000 miles, just certain cities and areas, that also ruined it for me.
