Heres another to try 2.42.880 - vgjono - Mazda RX8 - 3.99 Im sure with the right tuning this car could be a real contender, i only used the simple tuner as i have lost my confidence with the advanced tuner after the Audi incident. I tuned it thought all was good, then i did something to the tuning and it started handling like a shopping trolley, so i went into tuning and reset it to default and bam better handling and another 50klm p/hr at the end of 6th gear But not to hijack the thread give the RX8 a go im sure some of you Pro's will get it running 2.30's or high 2.20's with the right tuning cheers

I've done better than that with the Nissan 2000 ...

I've done better than that with the Nissan 2000 ... Better than what? We all have different skill levels. I've tried all kinds of cars and for me the old Nissan was certainly slower than 240SX, MX-5, Civic Si or S2000. I haven't tried RX-8 yet though... Instead I had a blast online with my MX-5... I won a bunch of races, until XxtcxX brought over his Golf which I simply could not catch on the straights. Jussi

I also have lost to the GTI online - was unable to catch up on the straights.
Another bug issue - the gearing seems to reset itself to default whenever I change the gearing. I tried setting 4th gear high like in TCRluca´s video but 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th reset themselves so I am unable to change the gearing. Could someone verify that it is just not my game but it happens to others as well? It is with the MX-5 and I have not tested other cars yet. When you set the gearing leave and go back again to see if the changes has taken place or the gears are set as when you 1st tried changing them.

Aaron when are you online?
I have added you as a friend, but I have yet to understand Shift online mode.

Hey Poul, I will be on alot for the next few days, but usually around 8pm to 3am ISRC time. I raced online for the first time tonight and didnt like it. The cars handle totally different for me online. I had to turn traction control on low so they would handle somewhat decent. Will have to redo all my setups for online, that sux. So far, the only way to invite a friend is to create a race in unranked - Versus, which is the only way to chat. Dont care for that either. Has anyone figured out how to race in LAN mode yet? Aaron

Hey Aaron Online mode for me (still have no idea about it) is better with manual clutch off and traction set to low. But if I race quick race its better with no assits. Poul Edited: I hope Rogerio will tell us what is better settings, because at the moment I am 2 secs off Luca and I really do not like that.
