The web page didn't seem to show much of the PC sales. From another article I read, based on total sales (all platforms), Underground 2 and Most Wanted were the most popular at 9+ million copies each. Carbon, Prostreet, and Undercover were around 5 million copies each, although it took longer for Undercover to reach that number (usually the numbers are for the first year of release).

Looking at those numbers (no idea what they resemble) i'd say NFS 3 Hot Pursuit would be the most popular because back then there weren't that many PC's around and when UG and UG2 came out, practically everyone had some sort of PC or console whatever.. It wouldn't surprise me if that in perspective or whatever you call it, that NFS 3 Hot Pursuit was the most succesful. Bandit PS: shouldn't this be in Game Talk general forum?

If you want to compare NFS series to the most SUCCESSFUL single racing game ever on all platforms (it is not GranTurismo, it is ...) Mario Kart: MKart has over 79 Mio in sales for all platforms combined. www.vgchartz.com/worldtotals.php?name=Mario+Kart&publisher=&console=&genre=&minSales=0&results=50&sort=TotalP.S.> However, all published console NFS titles together have sales volume of 69 Mio + if we add PC sales that were not given on this website, I am pretty sure that NFS series will beat Mario Kart and can be called the most POPULAR racing series ever made.
