Hi!
I just left a few questions in the WR Site. The answers will influence my decision to participate or not.

Very good points, Rogerio.
Let kids compete on NfsStats, WRecords must have Elite Mode ONLY as an allowed mode.
Le Man and GT races do not care about car manufacture, they care only about lap/total times and class of the car. Same should be at WRecords, no multiple records for the same track from the same driver in the same car class.
Cutting and mod issue should be resolved or given broad public attention, so we all will be on the same page and competition will be fair, cause some lap times look a bit unreal, done either using drafting, mod, cut, or cheat. I will wait for Youtube videos of runs and telemetry results before making final judgement.
But for now, Wrecords looks very raw and kinda unreliable (it is still a beta-version).

its very sad cause infel is doing a great job and try to make everyone happy..... people will always exploit and if the game allow this then maybe infel can´t do anything about it...

Hey Poul, Yes, i just tried it again and still the same. Here is the file it is talking about - I will reinstall everything again and see if that works. Thanks Dimitri, if reinstalling doesnt work i will probably ask you for it. I dont want to bother Infel8 just yet, he has enough to worry about it looks like. I have been too busy lately to race anyways.

Well said my friend, i totally agree with you. Poul, i agree with you too, i dont understand what Infel8 means most of the time. Nice driving at Road America! Did you try Elite mode here? I would bet you would be faster than normal or casual. I am faster with Elite and you are better driver than i am.

I have a hard time understanding what Infel8 means,.. Poul, i agree with you too, i dont understand what Infel8 means most of the time. I believe, Infel8 used online language translator when he was writing his message.
I just want to clarify some of his points:"What handling model is the fastest in this game? (I don't know, sorry =) ) If Elite (I hope that so) - that you can make a record inaccessible for casual and then people will go with Elite."- He is trying to explain that the main point of the web-site is World Records. No matter which gaming mode players use, fastest time is one that counts. "I think that the penalty at the right time doesn't approach. To divide on ABCD to me it is more difficult, than on cars..."-Infel8 is a busy Guy, time is money, and he does not earn money with his project. Therefore do not expect any class-specific records. Also, penalty for using "casual" is a bit of overkill. "And than you my idea of simple addition of the filter isn't pleasant? When (and if) I can make distribution of points only for the best time it will be possible to set up records on all handling models."-He is trying to explain, that separating records by different handling modes will give us 4 times more records for the given track. It will, in turn, screw up the points system. However, he already implemented filter/data published next to the record that gives us a clue about handling mode used while setting the record. "Unique trouble remains - if with Elite more slowly, than with Casual at Elite there will be no points and medals."-I already explained it before. "About telemetryes. I agree with you that at fair creation of a record there is no sense to hide, it is necessary to be proud. But, at each person the reasons to hold closed telemetry. maybe team rules... or shyness =) "-Infel8 agrees with Rogerio, BUT reminds us that aside from drivers competition, WRecord website is hosting competition between teams. Sharing setups with the team-members is a common practice. Sharing setups with everyone will screw up team ratings. Last but not least, choice of telemetry sharing is very private one. Some of us may be leaders on one track, but very slow on another; and not everyone wants different folks to discuss his/her driving errors. "It is necessary to ask participants in a chat, it is desirable champions."-Infer8 is implying about free communication between contestants through the embedded chat feature of the WRecord website, when you can politely ask the champion to share specific telemetry results.

I would bet you would be faster than normal or casual. Nice time, Poul. But, I am sure, you can do better. NfsStats shows that clean record on this track is held by player with the name "ste2612". His record is just 1 sec faster than yours. He made it in 01:40.652 with Veyron. nfsstats.vvvgamer.com/?type=2&class=0&track=63

I was thinking about limitations for WRecord web-platform to implement separate class A,B,C,and D leaderboards.
One problem could be requirement to run the laps without using NOS.

why? its a usual restrictedment for the participating players to have the nos-button disassigned;)

So, you mean that one can reprogram controller inputs through the hex editor replacing, let's say, handbrake function with nos function, then press handbrake in the game but in the reality it will work like nos, so we will comply with WRecord client having NOS button unassigned, but in the reality still using NOS ?

I guess you never tried wrecord client? If you have a NOS button assigned, then the client software will not register any run you make. Poul
