Ok so I bought the required cars available for these races, they can't be modified to be any better, and I play on EASY. The first 3 cars in those races are always half a lap ahead of me. Now what? Any tips or tuning setups are appreciated.

I hink the R8 GT3 is perhaps the fastest and easiest to control, but why are the AI cars half a lap away from you - you sleeping when the light hits green? No kidding, but you should be able to outrun most AI cars on any track, before the 1st turn.

I guess your looking for racing tips,, I launch in second gear full throttle and I use manual transmission that puts me in the front by the first turn depending on how far back I start,, so far the game puts me in 3rd or 4th place at the start of the race, So I can take an early lead. If your not using manual shift then that's some of your problem right there and you need to have full throttle and not worry about the perfect rpm at launch... . Thanks. It shouldn't be that difficult on easy, forgive my play on words. I mean these guys just blast off the starting line and I can tell my car is just not in the same league as theirs, even though supposedly they drive same cars.

Guys, I think you are forgetting something! ;P Wicken, which controller do you use? If you answer Keyboard, I am guessing you use Stabilize, TC?
Did any of you tried the Aston GT3? I see people in tables with LP560, Porsche and Audi... But no Aston...
For GT1, can anything beat Maserati?

So you play on PS3? Or PC? And if its PC do you use any kind of Drivers? Maybe you just need to tweak the controller settings in-game... Look in Foruns for PS3 Controller Settings for Shift 2... I know there were lots of problems to config all analog controllers, including Wheels.
When I ask about the Aston is because in terms of statistics is the strongest GT3, I think... Little less aceleration but more handling then the R8... But nobody seems to have try it...

Actually i like the Porsche GT3 and the Ford GT1 Matech, ive made some races against some fast guys out from nogripracing.com and i was able to beat em with thoose cars, at least the Matech Ford with stock tuning. If i may give You a tip (im also racing with a Pad): Use the G25 Combined Pedals setting in the options (If You can, dunno if on PS3 this exist...), 3% steering deadzone, 25% Steering sensivity and 65% speed sensivity. With this i have a real nice steering and its pretty fast to control understeering cars Marco

Yes, I had seen that Ford GT1 also... Had better statistics then Lambo or Aston... I just wonder if Aston GT3 can be also a surprise! ;P It seems nobody tested it! ;P

I used the Corvette GT3 and the Maserati GT1. Without manual transmission, I'm not sure how hard it would be to get by most of them in the first few turns. Usually they brake early on easy mode, so most of your passing will be in braking zones, other than a few you may get by at the start.
In some of the series, after you win the first race, you'll start off in first place for the rest of the series which helps.

I have tried the DRB9 GT3 and it was very easy to control - was a smooth ride, but a slow one compared to Audi R8 GT3. Actually I did a WR at Silverstone National with the R8 in career mode - that is if the autolog is correct about things - don´t know.
