well considering this, you can never buy anything to be maximum competitive, because every here and then a new and better upgrade is released forcing you to buy it. There just isnt the right point to buy anything.

well considering this, you can never buy anything to be maximum competitive, because every here and then a new and better upgrade is released forcing you to buy it. There just isnt the right point to buy anything. Which is why I haven't bought anything in NFS World other than the pre-order starter pack. The only boost I used was to unlock 2 car slots. This is what I don't like about NFS World versus other racing games. With other racing games, they're complete when you buy them, and you start off with all the cars and upgrades available. Some of the NFS games had later upgrades that included some new cars, but for most of them, these cars weren't competitive (with the exception of ProStreet's McLaren F1). EA/BB has chosen to generate revenue for NFS World mostly by punishing players with the excessive time it takes to level up, buy cars and obtain performance parts. Spending a lot of money doesn't reduce the time factor much, but players usually don't realized this until long after they've spent the money. EA/BB has also choosen to make a lot of the content boost only, which punishes the non-boost players. I and many other players have wished that EA/BB would have just charged a one time fee for the game, like every other retail game, because then they would concentrate on game quality and content to boost sales, rather than the abusive tactics they use now. If they wanted a free to play version, similar to a demo, they could have limited free players to tier 1 cars and a sub-set of the tracks, but allowed them to reach level 50, so that purchase would instantly unlock the remaining content (for players that leveled up during free play). At this point, I rarely play NFS World anymore, mostly just after each update to see what's changed. Eventually EA/BB will stop doing development on NFS World, in which case players would then know there's no future content to worry about and they could then decide what stuff to spend boost on. When development stops, there's some chance that EA/BB will just unlock everything without charging boost for it.

The game is not a racing game (to me), it's a driving game. If it were a racing game, everyone would have to have equal opportunity of winning like in GRID. It's a fun driving game and you can win some races without buying any Boost. I decided to race my Charger R/T and Challenger R/T this weekend and I won a fair share of races, but then there were also impossible match ups like Dodge Charger R/T vs Audi R8, Dodge Challenger R/T vs BMW M3 and yesterday Pontiac GTO vs Lamborghini MurciƩlago. Just forget about winning and enjoy the ride. Jussi

The game is not a racing game (to me), it's a driving game. But they're called multi-player races. One of the main issues for me is the traffic. Traffic is OK for some career mode events, but part of the draw of a driving or racing game is seeing improvement in your lap times as your skills increase and you learn the best lines for each track. The traffic interferes with this process, and it appears that the game often triggers traffic deliberately into the best lines for some turns at some tracks. This is one of the reasons I get no sense of skill progress in the game. The other issue I have with NFS World is the excessive amount of time involved. It's enough that a lot of players give up on the game somewhere between level 30 and level 40 (note that level 37 is only about 1/2 way to level 50 based on required rep versus what players win).

Hello guys! I drive World a lot, but using no boost because of the posted reasons (low droprate in goldpacks,..) So i dont have a murcilargo, but i win the most of my races even against well-tuned murcis. But if u have a full-tuned murci it will be better than a m3. I have a friend in world who is exactly 1,5sec faster in eagle drive than me with his murci. And like it was said before: Its really a shame that you can just buy the murci with boost and waste a lot of money for it. For t2 cars: It seems that a full-tuned A1 is faster than an elise because of his awesome acceleration with nitro. rcgldr i know your problem. I learn the best line for each track in multiplayer or in private matches with friends. Yeah i fully agree with you that traffic changes from time to time, but in private matches it seems that it is constant or it gets less when you drive this track for a long time. greetings
