Jeff and Marco, if I use a trainer to get money I will not have problems with Autolog or such? I would recommend, starting up the game with internet disabled so you're not signed in when using it. I don't know what is and isn't monitored. It was never an issue with Shift 1, and autolog only reports money you've earned, not what is in you bank account, or cars you've bought, won, or sold. I have limited edition, but from what I read the LP640 is enabled from VIP if you own Hot Pursuit 2010. Once I get done with my offline career mode, I'll sign in to enable the limited edition stuff and the VIP stuff which is just XP and cash for the games I have. I don't know if that will unlock the LP640. I'm not going to buy Hot Pursuit just to get one car for Shift 2.

Jeff, you can find the LP640 in the Car Lot for 0, if you have Limited Edition. I dont own Hot Pursuit... I got the bonus from the VIP for Undercover, Shift 1 and World (which I never played, but registered). Thanks for the info! Rogério

For playing previous games, I got Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster and Lamborghini Reventón Police car in my garage and additionally I can buy Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 for $0 from the carlot. Jussi

Paul, today I was driving that Lambo and I was thinking exactly the same you are writing there... I have the Works LP640 but with Default Setup it understeers like hell... I have to check it... I'm out from works LP640 testing, but I will spend time to tune a works Reventón. From what I saw, no car can compete with works LP640, but this is a very nice option. Try set softer front sway bar and springs, it worked this way in Shift 1 There is much heavylly owerpower works cars, for example Dodge Challenger (the new one), Toyota Supra, Nissan GT-R R35 SpecV, and of course almost every muscle car. i didn't tested yet the works Porsche 911 GT, but rating was over 2000, I assume, that this car will have great grip, since the engine has under 800HP, it could be driveable. Any suggestions for a Class A car?
There are so many choices... And money is tight...

Any suggestions for a Class A car? The works Apollo seems to be the fastest at most tracks. You also win a Mazda early on, that Scion car with the big wings, and a Z06. I skipped the drift events, so I didn't get the Falken Mustang. I'm only 40% into career mode, so I don't know what else you win. The works z06 with engine swap is difficult to drive without some traction control, TC high slows it down, but TC low isn't much different than TC off in terms of lap times. I'm using the default setup, and tuning would help here. I either shift in to 3rd early or only use 1/2 throttle in 2nd. 1st gear is useless. I assume that the AI handicapping will be more difficult to deal with in this case, and the Ebisu tracks very difficult versus the AI.

You can still win that Falken Mustang by completing the training course which is only 3 tracks.. I won it but can't use it, because my car won't move just sit there and spins the tires, At least in the training exercise the car would move and I was able to complete those three drift tracks... works Stingray (classic muscle) with engine swap - A1787
works Z06 (modern muscle) with engine swap - A2190
It seems the Shelby Cobra 427 doesn't have a works option.

Murciélago LP640 + $33'375 of upgrades + $90'000 Works conversion = A2210 Jussi

Not a bad lap time I did in time attack at Ambush Canyon using Lp-640 Works - I hope I can do faster than this when I find what tuning is best suited for this particular track. Video will follow...... What car is the fastest in the game? I have not enough money to just go buy Works upgrades and test myself Poul

Not bad at all Poul!, that will be tough to beat. I got a 1:09.900 last night doing one of the career events but restarted after crashing 4 times on the last lap. I will try time attack and see if i can get close to you. It seems maybe the LP640 is the fastest in the game for most tracks.

Hey Aaron I saw you had beaten my time at Ambush Canyon in Masters Challenge, which was why I decided to try out the LP640 in that event. I did a very low 1.09 then, and I knew I could do better. After watching my video I can see that I can actually improve that 1.08.647 with a sec or so
