Taht's nice to hear ! You could be very fast with this kind of driving assist, at last, it improve the cornering stability, if anything else - this works Z06 requires a lot of breaking before corner and then is car unstable ... something like Jeff's mentioned car yaw. Maybe I'll do video from Laguna Seca instead of Nordschleife, becauseI wanna a HD conversion, but I cannot reunite two records in Baddaboom. But this is minor technical issue Paul

I avoided the engine swap before I upgraded the Z06 to Works. The car is very drivable, but not anywhere close to as fast as the LP640. Probably not... I am driving with those aids, and I was able to do 1m 16s in Ambush Canyon with default setup... Its still a good car I believe, but probably not the fastest... But will have to test some more! I maxed out the Z06 with the engine swap, damn it has alot of power! With a few tweeks to setup it handles decent too(without any assists). Lap times are not quite as good as with Gumpert, but i think the ability might be there, on some tracks at least. I will spend more time on setup, hopefully can get this car to handle all that power. It is fun to drive until you get around other cars, you need the whole width of the track for most corners.

Aaron is right, this Z06 cornering in wi(l)de style, I did some bigger changes in setup and definitely it is one of the fastest cars. Some times I managed while testing - Willow Springs GP : 1.07.3 Ambush Canyon : 1.13.5 Laguna Seca : 1.14.2 Nordschleife with standing start : 6.02 Interesting thing is, that this car is very fast in super tight corners, like last corner at Laguna Seca. Rogério, the video recording is not going well, once my Fraps fail, once I fail I'm really tired from trying so many attempts, I think about a break. And now game disqualificated me for driving out of the track in 11th lap from 20 at Brno endurance race (accidentally) Paul

If you're not going for a record, and you accidentally go a bit wide, try to let go of the throttle and just roll back to the track. It seems that if you keep the throttle down, you get your time invalidated, but if you just cruise back to the track, nothing happens.

Sorry to hear that Paul, but skroting is right, I think! About those times, only in Ambush I already had a fast car... I think I can do 1m 11s with Apollo using Default Setup (did low 1m 12s as best almost on my first try)... Rogério

I have done 1.11.126 with the Gumpert Apollo on Ambush Canyon. Edited: I think it can do it faster with the right tuning and gearing. I have only changed a few things from default - not even sure it´s better Poul

I think the Apollo with setup changes can do probably under 1m 10s... But since the LP640 does 1m 08s or better, well... Rogério

I see your point Skroting, thanks for the advice ! After some days I'm back to racing, doing endurance races - only two rest, beloved Nordschleife. I'm curious ... The LP640, well ... this is the most unreal car in Shift 2, he's faster in speed than Vette and he has better grip than Apollo, logically, nothing can't beat this one. And the Apollo is like a go cart Paul
