Paul does not own a legit copy of Shift 2, so my guess is he is not registered online - unless he has a registration code?
I tried Paul´s suggested upgrade parts, but that was much slower and not working for me. I noticed in your video Paul, that you reach 145 km/h before entering that 1st turn from start and that your RPM only drops to slightly under 7000 RPM when shifting. Now my RPM (no matter what parts installed) hits 6000 whenever I shift gears, so I was wondering if you are using a pad or something else, and that has an effect on performance?
I did manage to beat your time, but that was using different parts than you and it was 2 good laps with only a few mistakes. The parts I used were:
High flow stock filter replacement Large diameter sport exhaust - cat-back Heavy duty organic clutch Street sport suspension Track brake set-up Full nitrous kit
Only changes to default tuning is a lower steering lock.
Hello Dimitri ! Poul is right, I'm not registerd on EA, since I don't have legal copy. And I do not think that I know something hidden, this game is very fresh for me and I still trying find the settings
This is very interesting Poul, same car, same parts, almost same tuning and this difference ? Hmmm I'll try your parts, I'm very curious if it will be working for me. The RPM's fall could be problem of shift kit - stock vs short.
About my controller - for Shift 1/2 I'm using only G25, Combined pedals preset, 100% throttle response, 100% breaks response, 0% dead zone in pedals and steering, 200 degrees of rotation, no specific profiler settings, manual gearbox, automatic clutch off.
In career mode with works Z06 I'm using 50% throttle and 50% breaks, this car is rocket, in yesterdays practise at Jeff's suggested Willow Springs GP I did 1.07.3 as best lap, without smooth driving - this car could be equal to Gumpert Apollo.

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): Haven't it been quite dead for a while now? It's really a shame, as back when this was awesome place to hang out, and, well. I did stop being that active here, as unfortunatelly I kind of lost my love towards Need For Speed games. It's a shame, really...

CmdrTomalak (PC/PS3/PS4): Yep. Dead. Dead. Dead... Somebody should put it out of its misery. It all started waaaaaay back when Most Wanted came out and we all met on the EA forums and decided to branch out on our own. Sad way to go...

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): And unfortunately, the way Need For Speed games were for quite long time didn't help this place at all, for starters, I dropped off from NFS games completely. I did get both Shifts, Hot Pursuit (2010) and later Rivals, but they weren't enough...

Chandrian: I don't know how many of you know, but for a while, NFS World has worked very well on a public online server (probably a month or more since it became more stable), containing over 150k registered players.
Sept 7, 2018 14:15:36 GMT
Chandrian: The sync is now allowing races with more than 2 players, and pretty much all original NFSW features are working. The best part is that everything is available for in-game cash on this server.
Sept 7, 2018 14:15:53 GMT
Chandrian: You have to start with a new driver profile, but the progression isn't that hard. If you wanna play NFSW online again, then I advise downloading the launcher of this online server and also joining this Discord server:
