If youre looking for something faster, try out the shelby cobra. For which class, C or B? You could just be a faster player. I went online once, and the track records only showed car rating, not the car. I'm hoping there will be some type of leaderboards for each class of cars, which will eventually let the players figure out which cars are best. In Shift 1, using assists was slower that not using assists. Players here have already reported that ABS off is faster than ABS on. I don't know about the other assists. In the case of Shift 1, for some players, traction control set to low was better than off, but for most players it was better to be set to off. This seemed to be related to the players system and a bounce issue in Shift 1.

I drive the Shelby as C Class, has an incredible acceleration and is pretty good to handle (im at work now so i have no clue about upgrades yet), on straights i smoke everybody and starting from 2nd gear with nos on green its even faster than AWDs
I agree to You with Autolog, this thing is an good idea but its not done right, no class records, noway to communicate with buddys (so as no chat in online lobbys), i hope they will improve this feature, cause its a really good idea at least...
I think S2 with max aids is faster. I tried it out with some cars like CCX works on tracks like dubai and the car just take every corner as a train with max throttling...If i put ESP and TCS off, im 3-4 secs slower...I guess its just because the works cars has such a plently of horses that its actually faster with tcs esp than without...But we are all new to S2, so maybe with experience, assist off may be faster in the future...

I drive the Shelby as C Class What components do you have installed on it? I haven't messsed with the nitrous yet. Nitrous could be an issue, because there are already trainers for infinite nitrous.

flywheel 1th brakes, both 3rd gearing clutch 3dr gearing gearbox 3rd Slicks first weight upgrade supsension 3rd
Rating is now 995 and custom tuning...

EDIT: forgot the street turbo:)

B class - Audi R8 - 1499 rating - (all engine upgrades), engine swap, cold air intake, merged collector headers, competition cams, hi rev dual springs / retainers, higher compression pistons, competition spec flywheel, programmable ecu software, competition flywheel. Quick change gear stacks, race coil over suspension, dual master assembly, competition brakes, semi slick tires, competiton weight reduction, (race level cockpit is visual only).
I didn't use race differential in this setup, not sure if that effects the tuning options.

For B Class, LP560 seems to be the way to go...

I'm wondering about parts on that one too. I'm not sure we should compare lap times from Shift 1 to Shift 2, but my gallardo is now slower than the one we had in Shift 1 for level 14.
Doing about 2 minutes flat on a good lap at Road America.

Looks like Galardo is the top car for most events in Class B. Even with stock tune it handles very well. And apart from 2-3 dragsters it is also the fastest.

The R8 was faster for me, at least with default setups. You can downshift way beyond redline while entering turns to help control speed (drive it like a game, not a real car), at least with damage off. Even without this trick, the R8 is faster than the LP 560 for me. These are the parts I used, default setups: LP 560 - 1499 - cold air intake, competition cams, hi rev dual springs / retainers, higher compression pistons, programmable ecu software, competition spec flywheel, race differenntial, quick change gears, race suspension, dual master assembly, competition brakes, semi slick tires, competiton weight reduction R8 - 1499 - engine swap, cold air intake, merged collector headers, competition cams, hi rev dual springs / retainers, higher compression pistons, competition spec flywheel, programmable ecu software, competition flywheel, quick change gear stacks, race coil over suspension, dual master assembly, competition brakes, semi slick tires, competiton weight reduction I'm wondering about parts on that one too. I'm not sure we should compare lap times from Shift 1 to Shift 2, but my gallardo is now slower than the one we had in Shift 1 for level 14. Doing about 2 minutes flat on a good lap at Road America. I'm way slower than that, at least with default setups. In Shift 1 with the LP560 I was just under 2 minutes, while the fast guys were running 1:56.xx, but I seem to be about 3% slower than the record times in Shift 1, so I'll expect about the same in Shift 2. For those that have been running with the LP560, could you try the R8 with the parts I show above and compare?

Actually, there are a couple of dragsters that are faster than Galardo at some tracks.
But Galardo still has higher potential due to tuning options.

I dont know what parts I put into LP560... I just went filling until I had close to 1499! I know I started with handling options and fill it up with engine ones... And if I am not mistaken, I think you can put almost anything on the Gallardo... Rogério

You are right, RCGLDR. But under the term "DRAGSTER" I mean cars with insane acceleration. It is not necessary a car with the high top speed. Just try Nismo R35 at Brands Hatch against Lambo or Audi. I did tests at London. And R35 is faster than Lambo at least 2 sec a lap no matter what type of London track layout you choose.

What car was it you used online with me yesterday, Dimitri? Amazing straight line speed but then you seemed to go just fast forward and not turn I think it was rating 9,99 as I was driving my Audi.
