Hi!
I have ATI 5850, which is a card that can hold itself, but my problem will be the rest of my PC! :S Have an E8400 with just 2 GB RAM, even if its Cas7...
About the Handling I have been already reading about it... Most people felt this and among the solutions what is more refered is this: increase wheel radius in profiler; remove deadzones; decrease steering sense; increase speed steering sense.

Rogério You will most likely have frame rate issues too my friend, my pc is slightly better than yours other than the video card. Those solutions are the same as i have now other than 200 degrees rotation in profiler and in game, i tried 300 degrees and higher but then had to increase sensativity which i didnt like. I will post my wheel and profiler setings this evening, hopefully Poul will find some decent settings, he is better at this than i am.

Steering sensitiviy slider adjusts the linearity. 50% should be linear. Less would be exponential with small off center movements being less senstive.
Each cars steering lock can be adjusted now, and that is the true steering sensitivity.
For my joystick steering I use a bit of exponential setting in my controller software, 50% steering sensitivity in the game, and speed sensitivity at 50%. When I had a wheel (my old logitech momo, which quit working years ago), I kept everything linear and adjusted steering lock for each car, depending on the game.

Ist off, i was wrong, the Lotus's suck. Audi R8 4.2 is much faster C class. It has no steering lag for me at all and handles good with default setup, which proves to me the lag is only associated with certain cars. Cant wait to test more cars now.

Hi all! First of all, confirm that the Download was really fast, so EA Servers can handle it... It had an average of almost 9.5 MB/s! Instalation was without problems and fast. I didnt have problems with Screen Name, nor I had problems in Saving Settings, getting the Bonus Cars or even redeeming the Cash and Bonus for having played other NFS Games! I am running the Game in 1650x1080 with graphics on medium... Its perfect... No suddentely drop in frames, nothing... Very smooth... In fact, I think its smoother then Shift 1, at least on my PC. I could adapt quite quickly to the Menus, although they are somewhat more complex on some regards... The Sound is also great and the Music is well placed in Menus, although I will turn it off, sooner or later. In the Wheel at first I wasnt feeling anything special, maybe because I was using a FWD car, the Giulietta. But when I tried the Lotus Elise, I could understand what you guys mean with lack of feeling and not being straight on straights... Its not terrible but its not ok... They should fix it. Apart from this, I am finding the game really good and the Autolog is a pretty cool feature. Before I forget, can you guys start Shift 2 from Profiler? Because I cant, doesnt do anything....! :S I am starting to believe that they made the game without having Profiler installed... :S So far the only changes I did to Aaron suggestion was to turn off "Allow Game to Adjust Settings"; have only 50% FF In-Game and only 150 in Steering Lock. I didnt try to change stuff in the xml controller file, like I suggested in a post from earlier... Did anyone of you did? Cya! Rogério

Rogerio, I don't use the profiler to launch the game, I only have one setup and that is the game I am racing.....Just bought that Apollo and its a fast mofo buddy. I guess because of physic change our times are slower than in Shift 1 and I right. I guess I should have left my game tag as Snnydv1970, because I got kick out of two races last night and every time I jump into a race everyone left

@ Rogerio, Yes, i have been starting from profiler since i installed the game. skroting, from what i understand yes, you can save a tune for each car on each track, although its probably a little soon to know for sure as there are many cars and many tracks. If there is a limit, we will find out eventually.

I guess I should have left my game tag as Snnydv1970, because I got kick out of two races last night and every time I jump into a race everyone left They're afraid of the Monster. What a bunch of losers. I guess they never played any RPG's, if monsters make them wet their pants like that. You're supposed to take on the monsters with your sword and shield (or with your bow and arrows, if you are a wussy archer). Jussi
