Oooo not sure if most of us will like this, I haven't been able to figure out how to change my view. Been racing bumper view for the last 8 years and now I have to use in car cam. I can't recalibrate my buttons. plus I am back to Snnydv1970 I haven't figure out how to change my name either..just like HP no way to select a different name....
But I'll keep trying maybe Aaron can figure it out for me..... O chit major change in racing....
Hi, Sunny Long time no see. You press "F" I think, it's explained on the screen, to assign buttons for different functions, axis and so on.
Major steering lag for me though. Physics feel worse than shift. Real disappointment as far as I am concerned. Elite mode feels like driving with assists or just incomplete physics. But I'll try to give it a couple more chances.
And omg how tired I am already of listening to those blingy presentations and that guy talking everywhere. I feel the waiting and presentations is even worse than shift 1, or maybe I've just gotten used to sims too much.
Hi Tomas, can you explain the feel of handling a bit more detailed? I'm wondering, does it feel like driving with a steering assist and does the sliding still exist? Yup, for Shift 1, there was a mod available to turn them off, I think, maybe it will be created again for shift 2.
Hi, Ses! I cant say too much yet, or explain exactly what I dont like with the physics. I wanna try some more cars first. But the strange hidden assists or what you wanna call it in Shift 1 are still there, or the less sliding made the lacking physics more apperent almost. You can for example gear down very fast before braking, the opposite how you drive a real car, and the rear should lock up but it doesnt. The brakes felt very bad to me too. I couldnt create any snap oversteer no matter how I abused the brake pedal. Theres a wierd understeer going on. I think what they means by realistic racing experience is more about bling bling add ons than improving the physics. Like the helmet cam, which no one will use because you can see more from the front hood.
Problem with mods and also different modes, is that either they cant be used cause they will be classed as cheats or not official, or with elite mode for example it's useless if it's slower/less grip unless it can be enforced within the game.

It´s officially the 30th of March, but I do not see anything on my EA Download Manager. But that is just fine, because I have had a lot of fun these last weeks playing Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 - awesome games to play if you like a bit of Star Wars combined with some first person shooting.
I guess I can go back to sleep.....typical whenever it´s a NFS title.
Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): Haven't it been quite dead for a while now? It's really a shame, as back when this was awesome place to hang out, and, well. I did stop being that active here, as unfortunatelly I kind of lost my love towards Need For Speed games. It's a shame, really...

CmdrTomalak (PC/PS3/PS4): Yep. Dead. Dead. Dead... Somebody should put it out of its misery. It all started waaaaaay back when Most Wanted came out and we all met on the EA forums and decided to branch out on our own. Sad way to go...

Tonnzzaah (PC/360/PS4): And unfortunately, the way Need For Speed games were for quite long time didn't help this place at all, for starters, I dropped off from NFS games completely. I did get both Shifts, Hot Pursuit (2010) and later Rivals, but they weren't enough...

Chandrian: I don't know how many of you know, but for a while, NFS World has worked very well on a public online server (probably a month or more since it became more stable), containing over 150k registered players.
Sept 7, 2018 14:15:36 GMT
Chandrian: The sync is now allowing races with more than 2 players, and pretty much all original NFSW features are working. The best part is that everything is available for in-game cash on this server.
Sept 7, 2018 14:15:53 GMT
Chandrian: You have to start with a new driver profile, but the progression isn't that hard. If you wanna play NFSW online again, then I advise downloading the launcher of this online server and also joining this Discord server:
