Slightly Mad Studios has answered some user questions in the comments of this article: www.virtualr.net/need-for-speed-shift-2-plenty-of-new-previews/One of them really caught my eye... Question: "Hi SMS! Could you please explain this screenshot of London from the official site? Will London be alway cloudy or we will be a able to select "Cloudy Sky" and "Clear Sky"? Will there be other tracks like that? Thank you!" Answer: "It's a random thing, and it affects the track temperature, tyre heating, grip etc." I think some people on here were already suspecting something like that being the case in Shift 1 but this time they even admit it themselves. How stupid can one be to even think about implementing a feature like that on purpose. Sounds like you will always have to pray for a clear sky when trying to set some track records in Shift 2 for wrecord.com or for your PBRC events...

Not very exciting, that you may give your best and another guy beats you, because he was lucky getting a clear sky with better temperature:/

This is going to be just like NFS HP, if its raining on a certain track then it rains all the time on that track, I don't think the weather will be nice one day and stormy and raining the next, if that were the case in the winter time it would be snowing like hell for 6 months and who can race in 30 inchs of snow

Dont worry about having equal conditions to everyone... I am pretty sure that sooner or later, someone will release a tool that kills the random weather! ;P Anyway, this is just another invitation to always do things Online and not Offline!
